ASI L2 Exposed Water SUP Instructor & RYA Day Skipper Theory
I have been paddling for a few years and love the sense of freedom and connection to nature it allows. I get to see wildlife and the world from a completely different perspective and get to remote places.
I enjoy slowing down and being in the moment while on my sup however I have tried my hand at racing and surfing (unsuccessfully). I love the fact that sup is so diverse so I continue to find new ways to challenge myself and progress.
Island Sup is an incredible club and has made me feel very welcome, supported my progression and provided camaraderie and friendship. I want to provide that same experience for others and this is what prompted me to join the committee.
When I am not on the water I am a former secondary teacher now turned education officer for a charity and mum to 2 wonderful (mostly) children.
